anyone who works at a liquor store / liquor department or brewery should be able to tell you how to order a keg. although if it's only you drinking it that might be overkill. i don't know how long beer in a keg remains drinkable. the only times i ever ordered one were for parties, and were empty in 24 hours max

It can hold up for a fairly good amount of time if kept cooled consistently. But yeah, depending on your state you might have to go through a specific vendor. Generally a larger liquor store or a party store will hold the appropriate licensing to do this.
