Yeah, I post there for rule/design questions but the average poster is terrible. This may or may not include me, I guess.

The funny part is that lawful evil is exactly designed for situations when the law is corrupt and unfair, imo. I mean D&D morality debates are tiresome beyond belief but this specific question is one the system is already designed to handle, which is that legal and good are different things and institutions and systems can be corrupt??
At least the majority of respondents agreed that it's evil, but a few people are trying to contrive ways that it's not. The thread is here, if anyone wanted to see a bit more stupidity.

Their moderation/forum culture is super weird and bad, there's an intense devotion to avoiding real-world politics so people can parrot god-awful opinions but as soon as they relate it to something in real life, mods start cracking down on things. Lots of stuff ends up extremely passive-aggressive and snipe-y, so I usually don't even look at threads where I'm not trying to get specific info.

Everytime I go to China, well, you may disagree with the means of the Cultural Revolution but you can't argue with its ends. China is an incredibly *new* country. Even in the hinterlands.

Ethnic enclaves excluded, obviously. But China is, err, working on that part. Once again, I'm disagreeing with the means and in a multicultural world, I'm disagreeing with the ends.

Depending on where you are and who you talk to, China was either created and born with Dengism in the '80s or is 5000 years old. Like Turkey, most locations and most Chinese also embody both positions within themselves.
