I don't think anybody has talked about how Leigh Steinberg virtually came out of forced retirement for alcoholism/bankruptcy and one of his early clients on the way back in was Mahomes. Have to think this skyrockets him right back to the top of the list.

On this same direction kinda, Connor McDavid is arguably (probably) the best player in the NHL right now and no one cares at all other than pointing at highlights he single handedly puts together on an awful team and going 'oh that's cool.' Oh hey, just looked at the last standings and they weren't so awful this year, good for the Oilers. I never pay attention until the playoffs.
