the tories sold the loving post office to their mates for less than it was worth, its what they do. they've spent the last 10 years doing it to everything that isn't nailed down and they've been prying up the nails for at least a couple years. it makes perfect sense if you think money in state hands is always better off in private hands, which is very basic right wing ideology. ripping off the state is good in that case. thats not controversial in serious political circles let alone edgy
