Beastars, Dragon Ball FighterZ and I want to say one of the Blaze Blue games did it really well, but there's care put into them rather than just being a way to cheap out on the animation. Those Berserk monsters are just distressing to look at.

It doesn't look as bad as Berserk from what I've seen, but I'm still giving it a pass seeing as how the only things the manga really has going for it (in my opinion) are its visuals and weird style, and I just don't need to see that in a format that downgrades it. It seems to be getting good reviews, but I know from reading the manga that the story just spins its wheels forever, so, eh... No thanks.

Dorohedoro definitely has a weird style for a manga. At times it reminds me more of a Western 90s indie comic.

Yeah, Dorohedoro has amazing art and a bizarre and wonderful style. It's too bad the story seems aimless and meandering as Q Hayashida doesn't seem to really have a plot in mind and seems loathe to ever kill off any characters or create any stakes at all. I honestly would like it better if it had abandoned all that and was just an absurdist slice-of-life in the bizarre setting she'd built. (Although honestly that's what it is anyway most chapters.)

Yeah, I feel like it started strong and ended strong, but there's a long stretch in the middle where it really feels like she has no idea what she's doing. When everyone is in that weird alternate dimension underneath Hole, it felt like she was just kinda shuffling characters around trying to kill time until she figured out where the plot was going to go. Still definitely worth reading, though. What I really love about is that even in the most dire circumstances, there's still room for dumb jokes:

Witchblade is one of those western comics that got incredibly popular in Japan which helped sustain it for a long time but it was also popular enough in the US that it got a basic cable TV adaptation in like, 2001.

Francis Manapul's run on The Flash will probably never be remembered as one of the all time greats but man I love his art and in particular I love how he does title pages     pages are from The Flash v4 numbers 6, 7, 23, 25, and 750
