Trains don't stop that fast, opening the cab door is not much harder when the brakes are in emergency.

Literally how I landed the flying transport in the glory days of BF2142: taking full advantage of how in one of the first patches the devs realized no one could actually land the suckers without crashing and gave the thing wonky physics that made them resilient to physics damage. My friend who had a flight stick was good enough he could literally crush tanks, coming down on them like an orbital teabag to take advantage of how no other vehicle had the transport's physics.
