My central air conditioning has failed.  This is a very bad thing, considering I live in the South. The forecast is for temperatures in the mid-90s with the heat index around 105 for the next few days.  Working from home just got much less desirable.

I grew up listening to 80s alternative because my mom loves it but for some reason hates the cure so I never heard them until I was like 19 and am mystified to this day how I listened to so many similar artists but not them

My brother (ten years my senior) played a lot of ska and also Men without Hats. I think my oldest sister played stuff like The Housemartins. I think I was a lot luckier than a lot of 80s Finnish kids  What does 80s alternative mean in your case? My guess is something pretty rad
