http://magicicada.org/magicicada/general_information/ Brood IX is emerging this summer in NC, VA, WV. We get 13 year cicadas where I live, and when Brood XIX emerged in 2011 it was crazy. The noise from the male choruses was incredibly loud, and there were live and dead cicadas everywhere. |
