no, Pennywise the Frown is your go-to guy for that stuff.

If you wanna mainline the anxiety straight into your veins though, go for this, it's a lot more cost effective.

Pulled in Mrs. Crivvens and a non-goon friend, we murdered some aliens and then became aliens and murdered each other. I really want to play infestation with more than 4 people. Mrs. Crivvens is up for another game next weekend.

Gorman also has that arc where he starts off as a dipshit but redeems himself with his death.

That's one of my favorite parts about those 2 characters. You see that Gorman shows remorse for being incompetent and I think he sort of wants to make up for it.

I also love the arc of Vasquez starting off as a badass and then ending as a badass.

If Gorman hadn't detonated a grenade in an enclosed space, the blast wouldn't have got Newt captured, Ripley wouldn't have had to rescue her and the Queen wouldn't have got on the ship and presumably stashed an egg there.

Then we might have had Aliens2 with Hicks and Newt rather than Alien3 without, which would lead to a much better franchise than the one we got.

Gorman: Incompetent military leader, poor tactician, small child endangerer and also indirectly responsible for Alien: Covenant.

Well there is that. Also Bishop wouldn't have been bisected and all the aliens would have been incinerated in the nuclear blast. Which may or may not have been big enough to also destroy the Space Jockey's ship.

That one grenade blast really hosed up a lot of stuff.

Good breaking balls on the website

Indeed you would. Therefore the real question is how to manage the thing. You could, we suppose, text her a link to our home page and go back to playing Call of Duty. That doesn’t really sound very money, though, does it? A better move would certainly be to buy her a gift certificate. Drop at least $150 on there --that will get her a gorgeous bra. An extra $75 moves you into matching set territory, which is where true specialness resides.

Mind you, we’re happy to sell you gift certificates, but truthfully? That’s more for contingencies and relatives. The major move, the true throw down, is to personally escort your lady to the store. When she realizes to what a bazonga mecca you have brought her, your thoughtfulness, your deep concern, well…I hope I don’t have to draw you a map here.

Just watched a vid about the back stories of ten characters in movies and one of them was about Lambert, remember how in Aliens while Ripley was dealing with the people from the company we see pictures of the Nostromo crew on a screen behind her and various text about them. Now the text was too blurry to read at the time about what was said about each person but the complete text was eventually released and turns out Lambert is transgender or as the text said a male to female convert. That's one tidbit never heard about before until today.

Yo, Xenomrph (and others), what are some good recent Alien comics? FWIW I liked Dead Orbit, thought the William Gibson Alien³ was interesting but a bit meh, and thought the Defiance series started out strong but kind of ran out of steam at some point. Any other newish ones worth checking out?

Also, any good recent Alien novels? I read a bunch of the older ones as a wee lad.
