he's getting pushback from everyone, they're in the bay area so for example we just finished up a project with google who told us that they're planning on returning in like august of '21 lol

We're in "Phase 1" (all WFH and our holding company is actually p.deece about it because the CEO's parents both almost died or some poo poo?) until 2020-12-31 but we do processing of live alarm signals (like fire or whatever) so we actually have to have one guy in the office 24/7 and I'm that guy until the guy who's usually that guy gets back from having he knee replace?

Management took away the free bags of chips and the coffee machine to "try to get the holding company to allow a re-opening" (which they didn't allow: eat poo poo, assholes) but in reality it was because management was no longer personally benefiting from it?

ceo of my company reopened the office for people to come in "optionally" in early may, and since then certain teams (those with rear end in a top hat managers) have been pressured more and more to come in

we had a big team meeting last and about 10 people were sitting around a conference table, no masks

ceo is currently spending a week at the casinos in vegas

did i mention we're in houston, which is currently one of the epicenters of the virus? absolutely no indication they're even considering closing the office again

something like 20% of people polled said they won't be getting the vaccine even when it's available.

Meanwhile in China, everyone's got a QR code on their phone to prove you don't have the 'rona which gets scanned before you can enter a building, and if the guy taking temperatures at the entrance finds you're running a fever you get immediately flagged on a Governmental Level
