Doubling up the jack stands doubles the capacity.

This is one of those posts that made me say “Oh no!” out loud. Somehow seeing videos of psychotically dangerous looking stuff doesn’t do that but this does.

I hate jacking the car back up to remove those things when I'm done working on it. This seems like it would eliminate that tedious step.

how are you supposed to jack up a tall truck, and aren't they those recalled jacks?

There are perfectly good axles right there that they could have used. I don't know how they have a jack that goes high enough to do that.

Even more horrifying when you realize that those are Harbor Freight jackstands

Judging by the tool marks on the other side, it used to be the size of an even larger boulder.

That reminds of the time I did something very similar but with a hatchet. Fortunately for me it passed by my ankle with only the back end bumping the boney part there. Hurt a little but was millimeters from being way worse. I changed my hatchet technique after that.

I think that's the most suicidally dangerous thing I've seen in pages. I wonder how you work up an act like this. How did the second plane get in the air without a wheel?? So many questions. Edit: apparently she's called Gladys Ingle, she was the only female member of the 13 Black Cats stunt team, and she died at 82 (presumably not by falling from a plane). Can you imagine asking your gran what she did growing up and she digs this footage out? darkwasthenight fucked around with this message at 20:06 on Jul 29, 2020 |

The worst part is the landing, imagine a bump and being launched forward into the propeller. The second seat even appeared empty.
