On the other hand, you play with random people on random maps and not all of them are great. I feel that the lack of any sort of lobby, chatroom or anything of the sort dampens my enthusiasm. The more I think about it, the more it feels like SC2: Wings of Liberty on release, except the UMS maps are gated by random chance and the skill of other people. Hell, I wish Laser League got big. That game really pulled me in, and you could pull of some real mindgames there.

They are, if anything, less horny than I anticipated. I had never even heard of Subverse until last week during a discussion on sex games in general (I also found out about Being A DIK around then). Sex Poker looks kind of lazy and is apparently scam for loot your money, though.

I’m honestly surprised that high-quality porn games (like, generally decent games that also have porn content) aren’t topping the Steam bestseller list more often. It seems like an obvious way to make tons of money on a polished but otherwise unremarkable game, but it doesn’t seem like it really happens.

Those all still exist despite the presence of the Senran Kagura series, Akiba's Trip, Gal*Gun, Conan: Exiles, Dead or Alive, VR stuff, Genital Jousting (the most erotic of them all), etc. - I'm too busy catching Pokémon though. I still need to play more Spirit Hunter. And Outer Wilds.

I like the idea of the game, but the execution just doesn't grab me all that much. There is a number of things that'd need improvement before the game really starts to shine. Maybe I'll give it a second chance later on, but for now I've refunded it. Note: it works perfectly fine on Windows 7.

I'm not interested in those hentai dating sims. I have no problem with them, everyone is obviously free to play them to their heart's content, they just don't appeal to me. The (imo) overused anime aesthetic plays an important part in that. If Subverse actually succeeds at what it promises, and doesn't have any dodgy stuff, I'll probably check it out. Whether or not it will succeed, and whether or not it will sell well even if it does, yeah, that's a different matter.

FallGuys looks fine but there isn't a lot of levels and there's nothing about the physics that looks fun/wacky in the way that Gang Beasts does so it just doesn't look that fun to play to me. It's only $20 so that's not a bad asking price for a couple hours of fun but I feel like this might disappear once the initial marketing rush for it dies down.

For the single quote ones I think the original one was the Commander Shepard one which was a moderately funny gimmick by itself, but since this is the internet the joke had to be run into the ground by dozens of copycats.

There's one Denuvo curator that's genuinely useful, though, for every goddamn time the game doesn't even list Denuvo on the store page.
