It sounds like they were told it was a false positive well before it was announced and people treated them like they'd been exposed. More a problem with the NFL announcing peoples medical status.

I'm not very tapped into sports media lately but I feel like no one is really talking about COVID's potential effect on linemen. It's well documented that obesity is a very serious comorbidity for this virus, and while linemen may be extremely athletic many of them are also very fat. I'm surprised we haven't seen more linemen opt out thus far. The other thing, aside from the virus effect on the heart and lungs, many people who get it undergo rather dramatic weight loss. I can't help but think this would have a bigger effect on linemen who have to eat far above and beyond their normal appetites to maintain weight. Will they be able to do that while sick with the virus? I would imagine that most medical concerns with Covid and weight would be minimized for lineman? I would have to ask swickles to comment, but I'm guessing a professional lineman is in much better shape than pretty much anyone who posts here with them being professional athletes. I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose 30-40 lbs id they are bed ridden though and can't keep up their caloric intake. ^^^ I'm guessing Laquon Treadwell is available.
