This trailer came out July 21 but I've only just heard about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpSK2CsKULg Female-led action flick with an openly trans director gets a big from me but Megan Fox feels really miscast as some badass squad leader. Also that CG lion, lmao

I've read a little about it. The theme they're going for is "Monsters aren't born, they're made".

Canada's opened last week, though you still won't see me in one for some time.

You sort of get to see it while he's being tortured, but it's hard to make out because it's mostly seen via a video call in the film and he's covered in blood.

Reading between the lines in interviews, I get the sense that this was all just overblown marketing spin anyway. It sounds like Shia wanted to get a tattoo of his mom and in the movie they tacked on some extra bits that made it specific to his character.

Yeah, the tattoo artist explicitly mentioned on Instagram it's a piece of his mom and dad. It looks like he just added the name of his character (Creeper) atop the piece, across his gut.

So does that mean that the huge “CREEPER” (the name of his character) letters are fake or did he want that as well? E:f,b Still, interesting how the movie specific bit is also the one hardest to see.
