I have an odd request: Does anybody here have any of the arco-flagellant models? If so could you take a photo of a couple of them from above? I’m GMing a Black Crusade campaign and I really want to murder my idiot players with flagellants. My asset packs are pretty lacking

Is there a blood bowl thread because holy moly the new models look super cool. I'm enamored with the goofy spooky team and really want to paint up the fancy lad team in spanish heraldy as well as paint up the orc team like a certain spanish soccer team. I'm curious if the game itself is fun because it could be a fun beer and pizza game to play with friends after I paint everything up.

Bloodbowl is great fun. They are coming out with new rules soon that will fundamentally change the game so we will see if it continues to be fun.

Since they already added a zoat to Blood Bowl they should just start adding 40k factions as teams. Space marines, Tau, Necron would all look cool. They each just find BB old World and get addicted to blood Bowl and then refuse to leave.

After a lot of research and hemming and hawing, I finally decided that the correct army for me is the Orks! I like the randomness they offer, the shootiness, and the idea of having a huge swarm of dudes who kick a ton of rear end. Just ordered some Boyz, Gretchin, and a box of Nobz to get me started, as well as some contrast paint for making skin easier!

Fun to build, in that you can come up with hilarious kitbashing like the Mr. Potato Head Stompa. Fun to paint, in that you can basically do whatever the hell you want for paint schemes, and can be as sloppy or as clean as you want. And fun to play in that they're a wave of hooligans that just wanna get in a good dust up. Hell yeah

Yeah they've retooled FW to pretty much just focus on 30k now. Wouldn't surprise me if the regular 40k models are being slowly eased out at some point and FW just because Heresy world. I mean their FB page has already been renamed with the recent announcement.

Yeah I guess I might've been a bit too hasty. I mean there is plenty of 40k Forgeworld stuff, but a lot of it is just the 30k units that you can also use in 40k. The titans are a bit of an edge case I suppose. And I had honestly completely forgotten about the Chorfs, and I realize they still have a decent AoS assortment still. Even if it's mostly chaos and monsters.
