Looking professional when committing genocide is essential. This is mostly achieved by using a beret.

Olive drab colour ensures the genocider will remain hidden from his prey until it's too late for them to do anything.

Kind of a bummer we didn’t end up getting whatever the Kylie vs Britt Baker feud was going to be, although it probably would’ve not been the current incarnation of Britt.

It's probably a good thing we didn't cause it wouldn't have been close to what the Roll Model vs MDKylie would be

turn it all around

I didn't know much about Kylie until about 6 months prior to AEW. Was she always this snarky on Twitter? I love it, but it's definitely in contrast to her wrestling persona and I figured it'd extend. For someone not following her, my assumption is that she got tired of all of the bullshit and rumors surrounding her AEW departure and just doesn't have time for idiots anymore.

I'll never understand having chats enabled in popular twitch streams and periscope and all that. It's just hundreds of people spamming noise that you have to screen cap to even read because it goes by so quickly.

I suppose it gives the broke brains out there a feeling of connection that this famous stranger pretends like they read every line but it'll never make sense. The only reason has to be so that people will donate money to see their sad shoutouts on screen for ten seconds right?

I think it's that to an extent, but she recently explained in an interview that her character is supposed to be hyperactive instead of endlessly chipper/perky, and she did resent the comparisons to Bayley somewhat. Also she's had plenty to be snarky about recently.

Yeah, she was one of the female refs they brought in for it and I think it was what got her on AEW's radar.

The Cameo

Yeah, I think she also mentioned that she was hoping they’d maybe give her at least an NXT contract to be a ref and they were like “thanks for reffing! Bye now” so when AEW offered her to work Double or Nothing, she jumped at the opportunity, and then they asked her back for Fyter and Fight, then Jericho finally said “hey I want her to ref the title match, she’s really good and it’d be the first time anyone did that at least as far as I know”, at which point people went “we should just hire her already” and offered her a contract. It’s something like that, I just remember that AEW didn’t have her signed from the start, she might not have actually signed her contract until shortly before TV started (I’m guessing because they could afford the per diem and trans costs to fly her in for once a month shows, but not a bi-weekly paycheck until they got their first bit of TV money from Warner). She covers how it went in one of those Chris Van Viliet or whatever his name is interviews.

She’s also a trained dancer, if the way she tends to stand and move when she’s reffing didn’t tip anyone off.

For small streamers the interaction is chill and cool to see, but for streamers with more than 100 viewers, I agree it's the equivalent of a wall of noise.

There's a point where it transitions from chatting with the streamer and becoming general audience reaction. There have been so many times when I've been watching an rpg live play and everyone loses their mind in chat at a plot point and it's so much fun.

It's no different than the walls of posts we get here during big events with something magical happens like Suzuki coming out to face Mox or the tag team match at Revolution.

It really depends on the platform. I have a friend on Twitch whose average is 120-150 depending on the day of the week, and it's fine because a lot just lurk and watch.

But if you get the same number of viewers on IG Live or something, 80 of them are spamming poo poo.

Gill is sometimes one of the weakest non wrestling parts of a GCW show. i much rather have two drunk wrestlers shooting the poo poo and marking out than him sometimes. the last GCW Japan shows were real bad because they were mixing up Japanese dudes left and right and at some point just not naming the one guy in the match.
