To really take advantage of non-volatile main memory, you need the OS you're using to be modified (it doesn't need to be FreeBSD, but it helps). Too bad the write endurance of NVDIMMs is still many orders of magnitude lower than traditional SDRAM.

Digital Foundry is cool though, they are one tech channel whose content hugely benefits from the video medium.
