Are we sure it was the lead in petrol that fried the boomers brains and not the terrible concoctions they were forced to eat?

LifeSunDeath posted:Sure some of you all will claim this poo poo is ambrosia but I'm not convinced Back when I worked at a local grocer stocking their salad/fruit bar, we had a customer come in semi-frequently that asked us for any spare watermelon rind, specifically to make this, and one time she brought me back a jar. Looks gross but was actually pretty good. Same consistency as watermelon but with the flavor of RedHots. Don't remember tasting any clove in her version though, that definitely would've put me off

Pickled watermelon rind has a texture unlike pretty much anything else, it's almost like a soft gummy candy kind of consistency plus it's kind of translucent. Super weird, amazing with fried chicken.

Whenever I make pizza I end up with an “Oops” every 6-8 pies. Usual culprit is having dough stick to the peel, launching only the toppings, or having the dough fold under itself. I once poked a hole in the bottom during turning and that was a mess. Luckily 500C burns the mistakes pretty fast.

It's like that cheesewheel pasta, except instead of getting cheesy, you're saturating the noodles in fruit fiber and watermelon juice. Exactly like what everybody wants in their ramen. They can afford to do it because the restaurant expects to use the same watermelon a bunch of times. Since she made it at home, it's either an expensive hobby or a business expense for a weird internet income scheme that I don't understand.
