Libertarians are "ideologically" good on abortion and the other poo poo they stumble into good takes on. But in practice they are the dumbest of the right, who want to sound clever and not pay taxes to the 'gubmint', or tolerate poor people and those with darker skin than them. Scratch a libertarian and you will find the Alt-Right very quickly.

Is this some kind of reverse psychology tactic to remind everyone that we actually all hate cops? Like, sure, you like cops when they're beating up people you hate, but remember how they won't let you drive fast or park wherever you want? Perhaps you and I are not so different after all.

Next time I'm delivering a washing machine for 1200€ to a rich person and don't even get 5 bucks as a tip, I'll remember that they probably donate over 7k a year and thus are definitely not pieces of poo poo. Edit: Oh look, the 500k-couple even spends 1500$ a month on charity: I can't imagine what billionaires must be donating every year. RabbitWizard has a new favorite as of 13:08 on Aug 16, 2020 |

I know it’s 2 years old and everything but it’s a weird trope of pretty much all budgeting articles and even books about personal finance and budgeting that is this assumption that people are giving WAY more of their income away to charity than literally d anyone I’ve ever met in my life. Also yes - there are places in America where a 25 year old with no student loans can make 100k. Also there are places where you can rent an apartment for $825. Lol if you think there are any places where both of those are true.

Add in the "no student loans" part to the salary and it just becomes impossible short of being born to independently wealthy families which throws everything out the window anyway.

It's like when people quote tweet dunk on Ben Shapiro posts from 2013.
