I've definitely read something about some old people retiring to a permanent cruise or something where they'd just live on a cruise boat because a cheap lovely cruise every week forever was about the same cost as room and board would have been otherwise, and it's basically the same as a nursing home right?? I can only imagine that would quickly turn into that one episode of the twilight zone with the dude at the casino who thinks he's in heaven but realizes that everything is incredibly shallow and fake and unchallenging and it's actually hell
