When no one was looking, Serval took forty Japari buns. She took 40 buns. That's as many as four tens. And that's terrible.

Did that ambulance park under the bridge? Thats the real OSHA in this picture :wtc:

I used to work at music festivals and we did this with a minibus. Crammed over 50 people into a 15 seater bus, so much that it was scraping off the ground as it drove.
The passengers? EMS and Police lol.

The Qianchun Interchange is very real.

The street map and the satellite map aren't quite aligned there, about 500m offset NW/SE, probably some datum irregularity.

The irregularity is that all the coordinates of the road data is GCJ-02, which doesn't line up with WGS-84 satellite photos.

China intentionally messes with GPS for "security" reasons. You just sort of get used to it always being off. And google maps is way way off, Baidu maps show roads accurately but your location jumps around constantly.

Also the vertical scale on that highway interchange gif is distorted which is why it looks so cartoonish. Similar to that oil rig in high seas that was posted like last month. Interchange is still crazy but having it be 2x as tall as it should be doesn't help. Look at how all the vehicles look like penny racers

looks slightly more reasonable though still insane here

as long as the signs are easy to follow I don't care what it looks like in totality. Could be perfectly easy to drive on and navigate

One day, a guy came in with an anchor. A big rear end anchor, with a shipping label taped to it. I politely told him to go fly a kite, after he refused to have it packed safely (it would have fit into the very largest box with a shitload of filler material) He wanted to just ship it as it was. Later that night, our driver came in, and said the craziest thing happened to her. she was doing a pickup at the mailboxes and more down the road, and one of the employees was being put in an ambulance. "Yeah, some guy brought in an anchor, and it fell off the counter and sliced the kid's leg open"

Did you work in Colorado Springs?

https://apnews.com/109da053cbc45f6c2d3d28647e6e5416

quote:

An Army clerk thought he was ordering a $6.04 incandescent lamp. But instead he sent for a 14,500-pound anchor, and now it’s sitting in a shipping yard at Fort Carson.

The Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph uncovered the error, which began unfolding March 6 when a clerk in the 704th Maintenance Battalion at requisitioned the lamp.

The order number for that item is 2040-00-368-4972.

The order number for the anchor: 2040-00-368-4772.

But the clerk typed the latter number into his computer, said Maj. Tom Barnum, a spokesman for the Army post.

This might hurt a bit..

haha, no, it was maybe a 4 foot tall anchor for a speedboat, not like, a tanker anchor. it was a size that a single person could pick it up. sucks for that guy at mailboxes who got sliced, but i knew better.
