I saw Cats three times in the theaters. You have to see the original human hands version. Of course it is terrible and makes zero sense. You're watching it wrong. Think of it as a police chase and then get drunk edit: we thought the version we saw was the one that had crazy snot coming out of Jennifer Hudson's nose and then found out the newer version added more. I am astounded by the decision to have a running river of snot coming out of her nose the entire movie. edit 2: the hilarious CGI of both the roaches and the rail cats inexplicably in sneakers has to be seen to be believed kiimo fucked around with this message at 17:40 on Aug 27, 2020 |

I'm glad Cats exists because these sorts of fiascos just aren't a thing anymore. Studios are so risk averse and everything is a superhero movie, a sequel or a remake these days so to see someone go all out and spend $100+ million and produce THIS is nothing short of astounding to me. I'm probably never going to WATCH Cats but I'm glad it exists.

I went to see Cats in theaters because I wanted to see that type of fiasco and walked out and got a refund during James Corden's number. The last movie I paid to see and left early was League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I'd try to watch that again before attempting Cats for a 2nd time.

Cats is magnificent. It really feels like every choice that was made on that film was the worst choice to make. Whoever decide to make the ears and tails behave like super realistic, twitchy-rear end cat ears and tails deserves an award.

I remember renting it from Blockbuster back in the day with my brothers, being super excited, as big Mortal Kombat and Highlander fans, and this movie somehow made us into no longer fans of either of those franchises. It's just so...dull. Post apocalyptic Beowulf with Connor MacLeod facing off against the Predator should have ruled. It really did not. I'd rather rewatch the Lambert Highlander sequels than this. Any of them. And those are terrible movies.

Watch this one instead - it's very cool. I even bought the drat thing on DVD. E: The movie is not a cheesy action flick like this trailer shows it to be. It really did not. yeah it truly is very bad. i rented it with some friends, i dont remember whether it was based on a preroll vhs trailer or just the box cover. sadly it was garbage. the only way it could be okay if you & your friends are all hosed up and turn it into an mst3k-style riff fest while watching a better movie instead

Lambowulf is stupid and fun, it has post-apocalyptic knights with chainswords and a whole lot of nudity, I recommend it. 3dwulf would be amazing in live action - the cast is great, the whole movie is made with a lot of love, but the CGI is terrible. It's still very watchable unless you're a joyless Cinemasins-watching lump.
