I don't really think this belongs here along the thread's general intent, but I gotta post it somewhere because I find it fascinating. Ever seen the Godfather movies? Know that guy that played Fredo? John Cazale? He was in exactly FIVE movies and every god damned one of them was nominated for best picture. Dog Day Afternoon Godfather 1 Godfather 2 The Conversation The Deer Hunter He kept some good company.

After reading a bunch of stuff about the Nolan Batman movies in the IIMM thread, I realized a good subtle thing for Tom Hardy was in Venom, there was no "cheesecake" shot. No random "whoops just walking here with my abs and biceps all a swole whilst I drink a beverage" thing. He looked like baked poo poo pretty much the whole movie. I think that might be the only "hero" film to come out lately that didn't showcase the actor's workout training.

His workout training money shot was the lobster scene.

The German name of Gruber refers to someone from a geological depression, pit, mine, or hollow. So Die Hard's villain is named after the opposite of a skyscraper.

In Justified one of the episodes follows a guy who's killing folks in an interesting way. Before the end of the episode, we see the bad guy take off in a Taxi. As we see the main character walk up to his hotel room, you can see a taxi parked in the background out of focus.

I absolutely love the face Raylan makes at "count down from 10", it really sells the idea that he's piecing together the guy's plan and figuring out how to beat him in the moment.
