My two pronged safety plan is to ban all petrol stations for safety reasons and mandate everyone walks everywhere for everything. This will stimulate the backpack and boot industries like never before. Except my jackbooted enforcers of course. They'll be driving Mad Max war rigs.

I'm going to take the long view and ask if I can be on the ground floor for this. Florida driver, 10+ years multi-stop delivery experience in trucks that probably shouldn't go on the highway. Since we've presumably taken control of the boot industry, can we get those jackboots in a breathable material?

I've driven that stretch of highway many times in the winter. It can be terrifying, but I found the old Wentworth highway in Nova Scotia to be much worse. But far and away the worst was the Al-Can highway in late October. I have never been so scared for so long in my entire life.
