You only need to do about half or so to get to 110 points, so I recommend skipping all the ones he qualifies as "hard". The "Very Easy" ones really are very easy. Konan II de Rennes, Duke of Brittany, 1066 Not too bad if you manage to kill William the Conqueror before he grabs England. Hardest part is doing enough loving to get 5 legitimate sons. I recommend taking Seduction focus and loving anything that moves. Also marrying a lusty Grey Eminence is a must. 2. Llywelyn the Great, Duke of Gwynedd, 1195 The key is to get a lot of gold/piety out of the Crusade that will fire in about a year and leverage that into a CB on England. Use mercs to try and snipe the English army and you'll be fine. After that it's just a matter of having enough kids as your dynasty is very small and you'll need the kids both for the marriages and putting your dynasty in Dukeships. 3. Saad Mordechai, High Chief of Baghdad, 1289 This one is great. Just wait for people to do something that lets you justifiably imprison them and kill 'em. As for the others, invite a single random Jewish guy into your realm and then start eating your (internal) neighbors for Iraq. Once you get it, make sure you can freely revoke infidel titles. Start revoking from all the Buddhists/Sunnis/Miaphystites, etc. and give it them to Jewish characters. Then put the new vassals on your council. The Jewish counselors need to have at least a 10 in the relevant skill so no putting Slow, Inbred, Hunchbacks on the Council! 4. Konstantinos II, Doux of Samos, 1108 Bribe every elector to set yourself up to inherit the Byzantine Empire and then make sure the Emperor has an "accident". You can up your odds by finding ways to imprison the Emperor's kids too. You can make the King-level titles yourself once you're Emperor. Then gently caress anything that moves again to generate a ton of kids and play till you get 15k score. 5. Louis II the Stammerer, King of Aquitaine, 867 A bit trickier as you need to make Francia. The good news is it's easier than it looks. If you can kill your dad near the start you'll inherit West Francia and be easily able to take Burgundy. Then you just need some easily picked-up areas in Brittany + one other King-level title. Give out the new titles to new people and make sure they're Duke level so they love you. There should be a bunch of craftable Ducal-level titles at the least. As for killing Vikings, see if you can bribe any to move to court. Then plot to murder them or find a way to get them in your dungeon. Battlefield kills count too! If for whatever reason you can't inherit West Francia I recommend restarting. 6. Shajar al-Durr, Queen of Egypt, 1250 I didn't do much on this one. I just crafted the 2 King-level titles you can at the start and did some crusading, making sure to kill any landed characters I captured in my Holy War. 7. Paul (Pavao) I Šubić, Duke of Croatia, 1278 I skipped this one. 8. Arwa Sulayhid, Sultana of Yemen, 1074 This one isn't hard at all, you don't even need to go to war. Just build a lot of temples and invite Hindus to court. You can either force convert them, get a favor or throw them in the dungeon. Then just play for 100 years without getting conquered. 9. Harald IV Hårdråde, King of Norway, 1066. I also skipped this one but I assume it works the same as the Hard Ruler achievement. 10. Hethum I, King of Armenia, 1226 Probably the hardest one by start position so I skipped it. The Mongols want your poo poo and you can't do much to stop them. 11. Kulin Kulinić, Doux of Bosnia, 1173 Also skipped this one. 12. Liao Hongji, Khagan of the Liao Khaganate, 1066 Doesn't seem that hard, just tedious. Keep conquering and you should get it. 13. Basarab I, King of Wallachia, 1310 The aforementioned free one. You start with 8 castles so you get that for free. To get the rest just keep building Castles. Also work on making yourself Cruel so you can eventually unlock Impaler. For the Vassal Dukes see the strategy for Wales. 14. Mindaugas, High Chief of Lithuania, 1236 Skipped 15. Botstain Stenkyrka, Grand Mayor of Gotland, 1066 Skipped as I hate playing as Republics 16. Stefan Nemanjić, King of Serbia, 1196 You need to have Way of Life and the Monks/Mystics for societies. Keep yourself glued to Theology for a way of life and join the Society of St. Basil ASAP. Make sure you don't ever gain any sin traits for any reason or do anything nasty (I didn't even plot to kill people). If you did it right you should get notice a few years after ruler death that your rule was canonized. Unfortunately every ruler after the first only has a 25% chance to get canonized so good luck. I hadn't paid attention to CK2/3 in ages and didn't even know this Monarch's Journey stuff was even a thing. Seems like a neat idea but too much effort for too little time. Guess I'll have to wait for the items to be made free for everyone eventually. Unless its possible to just load saves that are about to fulfill the conditions and get them that way, but I doubt Paradox was that lax in setting these up.

Getting everything might take a few hours, but it's pretty simple to get the wizard beard and a few others.

You could do it by release if you really wanted to. You can also get partial credit so you can do the easier parts then bail. You only need 110 points and each grade of the challenge gives 2 points (2 for bronze, 2 for silver, 2 for gold) and then there's usually a single one that's 3 points.

The last time I played Crusader Kings was six years ago, according to Steam, so I'm eager to jump back in with this new one since it'll be on Gamepass. I've watched all those tutorial videos which has helped with the hype. Do they still write out those heavy duty manuals/strategy guides or is it all wikis now
