I'm less annoyed by the "wrestler is mean to interviewer" trope, than I am by the exact cookie cutter way that everyone, (heel or face) does them. You have interviewer, already standing in a corridor strewn with official looking stuff. Wrestler comes up and stands next to interviewer, looking taller and therefore better than them. Interviewer asks question. Wrestler incredulously repeats question. Then goes on an angry scripted promo, before walking off after the punch line. Interviewer then looks quizzically at the camera once they have gone. With either a hint of outrage if the wrestler is a heel, or a hint of a mildly amused smirk if the wrestler is a face. It's that last look at the camera that annoys me so much. WWE interviewers are generally so useless. (Mean Gene and Renee excepted of course.)
