Rakitic is apparently off to Sevilla. So is Barca’s squad overhaul going to involve buying any players or are they just gonna chase off Messi and forfeit the season?

They bought Pjanic who is probably pretty upset about this whole thing.

It’s not often when both teams somehow end up worse off than before the swap

Both teams ending up giving away the players before the end of the contract is a lovely symmetry

I’m glad Arsenal’s best midfielder, who doesn’t even belong to Arsenal, will be playing for Arsenal next season.

Also, why is Fabrizio Romano suddenly the authority for like all transfers? I don’t even remember him being around last year.

He’s been around forever; he used to just do Serie A but he’s been branching out lately as his career grows.

Confirmed as new director of football operations at Spurs. Done an okay job at whatever it is chairmen spend their days doing, but wouldn't put hiring Steve Cooper in the pros column. Been awful to watch and only stumbled into the playoffs due to coronavirus and Forest's spectacular bottle job.

I liked Bellerin when Piers Morgan got annoyed at him because of Jeremy Corbyn, but I liked him less after Ezra Miller punched that girl.

His instagram in Paris would be loving quality though.

I can’t believe Bellerin is 25. He’s one of those players who will always be young to me.

I think he’s fine as a player, but would be happy to sell him for a goodly amount of money. There are other areas that need strengthening and apparently very little money.

25 is still pretty young. But yeah same. I'm still expecting/hoping he'll get back to where he was pre-injury, but not sure that's realistic as he's almost 2 years removed from his acl tear now.
