Goon had a problem with his neighbor stealing cable by repeatedly splicing off a new connection at the outdoor junction box each time the cable company removed the latest illegal splice. I think the splice was making his internet slow or something equally frustrating. From what I recall, he rigged up something like a Sega TV adapter in such a way that he was able to feed 120v AC straight to the neighbor's TV via connecting it to the spliced cable run going to the neighbor's house. There was a fire involved. I read this when i think someone in this thread posted it (could also have been the SA sagas thread in pyf) and was slightly disappointed that he didn't actually set flame to his neighbor's house after all the buildup, but I will say this is a solid example of a goon project that kind of actually succeeded, which is quite remarkable.

In hindsight, they were pretty goony, but the play-by-post animal fights threads (Oh The Huge Manatee, et al.) were a fun collaborative storytelling exercise back in the day and something I looked forward to every year while I was in grad school.

The thread title contained the terms hypoxic and ischemic if that helps at all and man he was doing so much to try and save her, it broke my loving heart for real

I wonder how the nice dude who had nasal cancer is doing these days. I hope everything worked out. I also wonder about Blue Story, the woman that was incredibly stupid and pregnant and her husband spent all their money on Star Wars junk. I cant say I wish her well though.

I sometimes think about that goon and his buddy that built a working submarine and were going to build a rocket next. If I'm not mistaken, his buddy wound up taking a reporter to sea in the submarine and murdering her / disposing of her body at sea though? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm recovering from a severe head injury, so I might be co-mingling events.

Proposal: A goon who acquired land in Hawaii seeks to turn it into an environmentally friendly yoga resort. The original threads are now many years in the past, and recalling those brighter times are increasingly difficult and weird. I am and have been struggling with processing what happened. What used to be happy memories of absolutely extraordinary adventures with my best friends, now forever indelibly sullied with the terrible context of August 10, 2017. I've refused all opportunities for monetizing the tragedy. My hands never touched a dime when I licensed photos to tabloids during the murder trial: All proceeds went directly to the Kim Wall foundation.
