There was a diet thread where a goon was going on about the joys of eating raw spoiled organ meats. It ended with someone making a comic where the poster was a bear. I have the comic saved and giggle at it occasionally but what makes the comic funny is the whole build up. Low-hanging fruit but margarita machines never fail to bring a smile to my face.

He spent the thread digging deep into therapy and medication and trying to get opinions from qualified specialists on if there was improvement or if he was just deluding himself. It ended sort of suddenly when he mentioned that one of the treatments was some approved-in-europe grey-imported drug that he'd found referenced in a few papers, and a couple of people came down on him hard for it. I remember this one. I think of that loving lovely situation frequently.

They would invite people over to a campfire and have a poo poo ton of blunts ready. When you sit on the campfire, you can pass blunts around to other people and they smoke it automatically. So the goons would pass an idiotic amount of blunts to the mark, they would become extremely angry while getting loving tuba blasted out of their mind, then pass out from weed overdose and the goons would steal their stuff.

Tony Tango. Years ago in CineD a guy who registered seemingly to promote his own film created a thread about Tony Tango, an upcoming movie he was starring in where the entire joke was that he was fat but he could dance and everyone thought he was sexy.  The fact that it was a garbage movie and he immediately started rolling with the punches when everyone started making fun of him for it was pretty obvious but some of the weirder details were: -he had a shockingly conventionally attractive wife who was a model and he was getting his Everquest guild to promote the movie in exchange for posting increasingly exposed pictures of her tits on their forum for every milestone the trailer hit. -he had a starring role in an expensive Chinese blockbuster called Empires of the Deep seemingly entirely because he had scuba diving training so he could play the wacky fat guy sidekick in a movie set largely underwater. To this day the film is still unreleased. -he was genuinely convinced that Nick Frost had ripped him off because he also had a movie about a fat guy who was good at dancing coming out, even though many people pointed out that this was just more proof that his idea wasn't interesting or original in any way.

There was an amazing thread back during the second bush administration that was goons posting libertarian fictions. I think it was in response to some weird Glen Beck liberatopia idea. Also the Ultimate Necromancer. I'll be playing games and every now and again the phrase "your robe look like a dishrag goddamn" pops into my head. Still haven't found it. I think it was in whatever forum impzone used to be.
