Drive tires wear more than non drive tires. If you live in an area that gets a lot of snow, it could mean the difference between sliding or not.

Why are people acting like you're instantly going ot die if you don't do this as well? I have never rotated my tyres in 20 years of driving, I don't know anyone who has either.

Do you take your car anywhere to have it serviced? Because it's pretty standard that they would do that for you.

I think ordinarily you would cut it in a particular way and I think you can also do things like ratchet strap it towards the direction you want it to go before you finish the cut. But your man apparently wanted to do it with dreams and a prayer.

Hello I'm an arborist and you would never straight fell a tree that size in that area, like hitting the house is actually the best case scenario in that situation, a tree that size hitting concrete completely uncontrolled would have bounced in who knows what loving direction and probably wiped out the guy who cut it because he stood there like an idiot right next to it

It's a Paddle Pop. Paddle Pops are ice cream. And icy poles are only called "ice blocks" in New South Wales. Everywhere else, "ice block" is just a slightly odd way to refer to an ice cube.

I get my cars serviced and MOT'd every year and no garage has ever done this. Maybe it's a super secret service they offer to dad's?

Yes your drive tyres wear down more quickly, but then just get 2 more tyres? The amount of wear on your tyres ends up being exactly the same. If you could only buy tyres in sets it might make sense but you don't.

I took a look, but I'm not good at twitter. I assume you've quoted/linked another tweet in that thread at some point to make it basically an infinite loop? If so, that's a good trick.

With a sweet deal like that he should have gotten into tooth arbitrage. Buy poor kids' teeth for $5 or $10 and slip them under his pillow, could probably make a hundred or two extra before his parents caught on. It's not like they're counting, and who knows how many teeth are in a mouth anyhow?

Yup. Two separate threads. The first ends with a quote tweet of the start of a different thread, which ends with a quote tweet of the first tweet of the first thread. So yeah, when you read through it it will just keep going forever, no matter which tweet in either thread you start with.

I need a better hobby.
