The multiple jobs being cut makes so much sense in terms of what’s missing. Stuff like Star Tours and Guardians having multiple settings seems very at odds with the version of the ride right now. My problem with ride at the moment is that you need to have an exact group of six and not mine with most of the group getting dud jobs. If there were multiple jobs there would be some incentive to ride again and swap positions. Saying that, I’m probably not the target market because the ride shines when kids are going ham on the pilot controls and parents just watch either in awe or terror.

I like engineer Gunner is irredeemable though. There's literally no incentive to use manual aiming. As a veteran of X-Wing/Rebel Assault/Rogue Squadron/etc., I thought I'd be a hotshot and use manual my first time, and meanwhile my wife held down auto fire and destroyed my high score.

SR during COVID is also lame since unless you have 4-6 people in your party, you'll end up like my wife and I in the cockpit on your own with most everything on manual. Though they did ask if either of us wanted another position. Apparently Pilot can be set to auto. Roth posted:The ride is cool just for the feeling of walking into a replica of the Falcon Yeah, it's honestly the only ride in existence where the queue and the loading area might exceed the ride itself. btw, what's all the secret Chewbacca stuff? I already have a long list of things to do or explore more on our next visit to DHS, but hadn't heard of the Chewie stuff before.

my wife lost her wedding rings on the flight of the falcon because she had put them in her backpack and they flew out. somehow Disney found her engagement ring (the important one) the next day and sent it back to us. total disney magic.

Disney Lost and Found is pretty awesome. If you're on property making a detour to get your stuff at Disney Springs takes some time out of your day, but it was very efficient. My son lost his Limited Edition Cars 3 MB, and I had no hope of getting it back. We had it back in about 36 hours which was amazing.

It is essentially a restraining order but instead of it being against a person, it's against the whole goddamn property. break it, and the police get involved.

Yes, of course (your Disney privileges have been revoked); I was just curious since a lot of people go through Disney. Fingerprint recognition makes perfect sense though.

For those who have never been or fans from afar, it’s worth remembering that WDW often has “JESUS” written in the sky above it. It’s not surprising the kind of people who also arrange that show up and act out.

Universal is running two of the Horror Nights Haunted houses in the day and using the virtual queue (Ala boarding group style) to avoid jams, and also this to spread the groups out inside. Today is team members and premier passholders, tomorrow and Sunday it's open to the general public, they haven't announced beyond then yet. https://twitter.com/braddrinks/status/1306967469408399364 They are also doing trick or Treating for kids at Islands with marked stations. And a park scavenger hunt type of thing with a reward called Scarecrow Stalk. I'll probably check it out tomorrow. Atricks fucked around with this message at 19:34 on Sep 18, 2020 |

I'm planning a Disney trip for my family (our kids are 2 and 5). I want to make it special for them, since it's a big family vacation that won't happen again soon (if at all). I see the OP was last edited in 2015/2016, but is it pretty accurate with the basics? We'll probably go before my son turns 3 in May (so he's free), so I know we'll likely have to manage COVID restrictions which we're okay with. I'm thinking of finding a reputable travel agent to help plan this, since it's a one-time (maybe two-time) big vacation. Any recommendations on agents to book through? (My wife and I haven't been to Disney since we were both kids - probably 20 years - so it'll be a magical experience for us, too. )
