OldUnreal has released the Unreal Tournament v469a Patch (nice!), developed from the original source code with Epic's approval. It brings about a tiny army of bug fixes, support for modern operating systems (especially on Mac), modern renderer plugins and some minor new features like raw input, font scaling, and high DPI support.

What mods do you guys turn on when you're doing a Vanilla+ playthrough of Doom? No new weapons or anything, just QOL stuff. Right now I'm using Smooth Doom, a mod that gives enemies health bars, hit markers, a mod that shows damage numbers, and Tilt++.

The only good modern FPS design quirk is hit markers/sounds. MMod that adds those and kill notification sounds make the combat so much more punchier, it's great. When you get a kill this low key THUMP sound will play and it's just chefkiss Damage numbers, health bars, etc can screw right off.
