This owns. I like the band name, and the use of mirrors as a cheapy effect. Also, how that plays with your perception of the use of real effects later. This also owns. Aes is one of my favorite emcees, and I haven't heard Kimya Dawson before but this is a powerful collaboration. Gonna be keeping an eye out for the Uncluded. one time at a festival when I was watching health about halfway through their set someone asked me if I had ketamine. I used to look a lot like I had drugs so that's not weird but like you wouldn't even come up before healths set was over and then the last band was tv on the radio which I don't think is a great band for a k hole

I'm also very impressed how fresh they keep the sound, and how fast they put it out. For example, they had two records come out in 2019, that sounded nothing alike, Fishing for Fishies and Infest the Rats' Nest, which sounded nothing alike at all. God I just remembered I was supposed to see them during their North American tour this summer. Guess I'll be pouring one out for another dope Aussie band I'll never get to see tonight.

Good morning, the cooler weather, rain, darkness, clouds etc always put me into a Neurosis mood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fH94DmxwLCE Fires within fires definitely gets less praise than it deserves in my opinion. Its tough to stack up against the rest of Neurosis' discography, but I really love the lyrics on this album and it is undeniably heavy. This album reminds me in some ways of The Eye of Every Storm. I really hope they get back in the studio soon, and drat, out for a west coast tour as soon as this covid poo poo ends.

But Through Silver in Blood is definitely where they CEMENTED their signature sound imo. Edit: Locust Star is one of my top 5 Neurosis songs though.
