I googled character builds out of curiosity and the theorycrafting made my head explode so I kind of just want to make the characters have the jobs that make sense for them without worrying about minmaxing you only have to setup gambit optimization for the super bosses and poo poo. i dunno if they removed it in the remaster, but theres a cool grind spot very early on in the mines that you can get leveled to 99 in an hour or two with a spefic gambit set that i cant remember what right now (last played it in 2007 so...) but made the last boss super loving easy but the last super boss took 8 hours real time to beat

Seriously though 13 Sentinels is full of relatable characters who care about each other and it's just a really feel-good experience across the whole game. Except for the one abusive gay relationship, but that is also handled in a very interesting and believable way.

13 Sentinels is utterly baffling and fantastic in equal measures. I would describe it as a must play if you like visual novels. I enjoy the combat but right now its locked behind me finding a character prologue I don't have yet, so its a looooot of reading.

It seems like the wait is between 4-7 months, but the next gen version is going to look way better. I think someone said console at release will be medium PC settings, next gen release in 2021 is high and ultra will be PC only. Torn on waiting and not waiting.

Torn on waiting and not waiting. that's someone making things up that sound plausible. it wont be that clean a divide. texture settings for next gen after patch will likely be in line with the absolute top end of pc because of more flexible streaming from the disk, volumetric light settings even on the ps5 will likely be in line with a much lower pc setting because it just doesn't have the juice. etc etc. I'm holding out for the ps5 versions of yakuza & cyberpunk too. A little bit of discipline will help make the transition to next gen feel a little more exciting for me.. I'm kind of ignoring that they have ps4 releases.
