As someone with like 90% of a hidden ability dex, I'm torn on ability patch. I feel a little like I wasted my time gathering these mons across many games, some not so great (looking at you dream radar), but on the other hand I can finish the dang thing. Also, availability for battle relevant variants is also good.

The secret best news from that is finally proper Pokemon Go connectivity! I have almost 200 dang shinies in that game and at least 3/4 of them are just clogging up my boxes. I don't even care if I can't use all of them in Galar; I just want to dump them somewhere that doesn't charge money for extra storage!

It's a bummer that the Melmetals I already have in Sword/Shield apparently will never be able to use the gigamax soup. I have a shiny one! It was a big pain in the rear end to get it! ... We've seen quite a few shown off that are fan favorites like the Nidos, Garchomp, Absol etc along with some more esoteric picks like Aurorus. We also get two brand new Regis
