As usual, I'd rather get the best possible version of Seventh Cross when I get it than shoot for a specific time. And frankly, I'm already dropping a few hundred bucks this October between Return to Planet Apocalypse and 7th Citadel. I wouldn't mind waiting a bit before I drop some cash on Seventh Cross. Not that there's ever any guaranteed dry spell, honestly.

I got my Battlecon stuff in! That's a big box. EDIT: I already owned War and Fate, and I have an old copy of Trials on the way to upgrade with the KS stuff, so my collection is pretty much complete.

So, how compatible are the small box expansions (Strikers, Armory, Extended) with 4th edition rules? I'm thinking of grabbing Extended anyways for the two characters, but I don't know if any of the other stuff is useful.

Any of the old alt costumes that come with a new UA that trigger off an old UA are gonna be completely dependent on how much a character was changed. Strikers and armory can work if you squint at it funny, but all of the card templating isn't gonna line up any more. I swear to god I'm not trying to overshare on main here--but one of the things I was looking forward to was the streamlined wording and whatnot to help get my wife more into battlecon...well....covid-times saw the end of that relationship. So I've got this giant-rear end box coming with nobody to play it with. Thank god for TTS, but I guess I coulda just saved the pledge

Eventually covid will be contained or a vaccine will be developed and I can take Unleashed to my FLGS or invite friends over again. In the long term the purchase isn't wasted. This kickstarter campaign in particular is just hitting hard just due to HOW MUCH in my life changed since I backed it, and battlecon being a game that she and I were trying to learn together just stings a bit. I didn't want to become too good at it and just utterly wipe the floor with her, cause that was the quickest way to make sure she'd never play a game with me ever again haha

I'm done! Well, not done. I'm waiting on an old copy of Trials to arrive for the boxes and bits, and technically I need a copy of Extended for the Borneo and Juto standees, but other than that, everything is taken care of. The loose cards second from the right are all the Trials stuff, while the ones on the far right are all extra and alternative bases. The top row is all Novice fighters, the middle Intermediate, and the bottom Advanced. I need to figure out something better to do with all the chits, but I'm waiting until I get everything boxed to see what kind of space I have to work with. By my calculations, once I have Trials and pick up the 4 individual fighters I'm missing, I will fill everything but the far right column, with one tuckbox left over, so things are going to be a bit cramped. Still, now I will never need another two-player fighting game in my life ever again! Although I am missing some of the Exceed seasons...

Right now only US shipping has started, and only pledges without sleeves. Pledges with sleeves are shipping at the end of the process, and EU fulfilment hasn't actually started yet.
