NOAH have confirmed the first 2 matches for their big Yokohama Budokan show on November 22nd. Go Shiozaki vs Katshuhiko Nakajima for the GHC Heavyweight title is the obvious one, more surprising is Keiji Muto vs Shuhei Taniguchi. Taniguchi has had a surprisingly steady 2020, & the interactions he had on Sunday against Muto in their 8 man tag were fun. That said, I wouldn't weep if Muto announced he was winding down sometime soon.

Naruki Doi seems to have gotten a minor injury at a DG show but so far they have just pulled him from shows on the 23rd & 24th but the 25th is the Naruki Doi 20th Anniversary Homecoming show & is on the Network so it's possible he could miss that too. Think that'd be the last broadcast show before Gate of Destiny on the 3rd November where he's meant to be challenging for the Triangle Gate belt.

Watched the GLEAT 15.10 show and it was a real fun way to spend two hours. - The opener was the worst match on the card, but was inoffensive and short. I've never liked NOAWA's look, going all the way backto when I saw him in TNA back in 2004 - The two UWF Rules matches were the definite highlights, with Syuri/Yuu being my MOTN - Masa Funaki and Minoru Tanaka are awesome as double-hard old bastards - I have no idea who Kenoh's opponent was, apparently a Wrestle-1 guy but he looked real good for only being two years in the business - The main event was such an odd mashup of people but it worked well and didn't wear out it's welcome. I enjoyed Daisuke Sekimoto lifting fools twice his size, and it was cool seeing Akiyama and Taniguchi teaming together. The last time I remember them sharing a ring was at Kobashi's retirement show when Taniguchi still wore the mask.

Kenoh's opponent was Soma Watanabe who used to wrestle under a mask as Pegaso Iluminar. He's one of the two wrestlers signed to GLEAT along with Takanori Ito. With their next show not being until July, I guess they'll take freelance bookings. I really enjoyed the show. Apparently they're doing two divisions with Tamura overseeing the UWF-rules division and Kaz overseeing the "Wonderland" division. I wonder what they'll do to give the Wonderland stuff its own identity, cos "realistic" UWF stuff vs "fake" pro wrestling is a weird divide and at the moment the non-UWF doesn't feel like it'd be anything you can't get anywhere else. At least with like BJW the two divisions have an easily understood identity. Also Syuri said she had no idea what UWF rules were before this show.

As I was going to bed I realised it is clocks going back tonight in the UK so now all my time zones are wrong. So I guess Dragon Gate is on at 7am instead of 8am which reduces my odds of watching it live

I need DDT to take a month long break or something because I have fallen so far behind since August & King of DDT ended. Oh well, I've got 10 days to catchup on 2 months of wrestling before Ultimate Party. At least there's only 1 live show to watch during this week, I might actually get a chance to work into the backlog (especially as the Giro d'Italia ends today so I've got one less thing on my plate)
