i tried playing a bit of goemon 4 and i think goemon 4 might just be a worse version of goemon 2, with somehow much worse boss fights they replaced the annoying first person robot minigame with... bad puyo puyo...???

It was more like the seasons would end with a conclusive loving moment between the main pair and then they'd be bickering again as the credits roll and then the next season's start. Which I don't think is much of a reset as they'd get demonstrably get closer every season with new arcs from the side chars and I don't think "deredere" should be the expected end result anyways. Give me the BDSM and doggy collar

I liked the part of ZnT where it was revealed that as part of the familiar pact the isekai MC was, like, brainwashed to not care about the life he'd left behind in the real world and as soon as it was dispelled he just had a complete breakdown.
