Due to some unfortunate technical hiccups the ratty eating qualifiers went on hiatus for a couple of days, but this evening they finally started up again. I bet you guys can't wait to see who's best at eating pear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRBENLQDo3A

She then had her bald bonce decorated with henna. I'd never thought I'd say it, but I almost wish I'd lost my hair when I had chemo. Only hair I lost was in the area I got radiation, and that still hasn't grown back properly more than 4 years later, though it's not visible when I'm wearing clothes.

I've heard garage sales were the ticket. A former coworker of mine got what he called a complete set of imperial infantry at a garage sale for a stupid low price.

https://twitter.com/LeoLabs_Space/status/1316919600160903168 There was a pretty good chance of two dead satellites colliding tonight, which would've had the potential to cause a lot of problems. We got lucky and they missed, but we have to get lucky every time.

David Bull is a British guy who moved to Japan at age 35 to make Ukiyo-e prints. He has a YouTube channel which is interesting if you like hearing about art, like prints, or just like to hear about Japanese culture. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trt72adynrM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKoxt9Y2oMQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2L3M7isGQbg I've been subscribed for a little bit, but I just found out he's one of the two people behind theses and there's a lot more than I thought. I never realized they were actual wood block prints. I though someone had just imitated the look in photoshop. I just think that's cool as poo poo.

Dave is a treasure and everyone should watch him! (I think he actually identifies as Canadian) He's also a big reason why I now have multiple books about ukiyo-e prints, including a couple which could serve as coffee tables themselves...

I just hope that once all media is finished being conglomerates into the never ending avengers saga that we get a spacefaring, hexapedal, telepathic, murder cat. Is Andy Serkis still working?
