Ornamental Dingbat posted:If I remember my manly cowboy truck commercial voiceovers correctly the F150 is 12,200 lbs and it goes up to the Ram 3500 and F-450 which max out at around 32,000 lbs. Assuming that's a Cummins logo on the fender in front of the door, this is a 2018 or prior Ram Power Wagon, which is a 3/4 ton chassis with soft and flexible off-road suspension which reduces its towing and payload capacities compared to a normal model. Just shy of 10k towing and 1500 payload so if it's within spec it's just barely there. The grille looks a bit small for the HD Rams though so if that's not a Cummins logo it could potentially be a Ram Rebel, which has a very similar grille but is a 1/2 ton chassis in which case lol.

it might be wrong, but once the first few bricks fell, I'm reading this as a deliberate attempt to make sure that the stack falls over from as far back as possible The operator might have simply attempted (successfully) to avoid damaging the truck cab

There was no plan there that had any kind of chance to succeed.

It may well have been dumping them on purpose. Lowering the pallet so it catches on the closed bed door seems deliberate and that does look like a small dump truck. However there is no PPE, including open shoes, so I still rate it as OSHA thread approved regardless of intent.

Lowering the pallet so it catches on the closed bed door seems deliberate and that does look like a small dump truck. yeah, looks deliberate to me. With the tailgate of the truck up, there was no way to set the pallet down cleanly and back away. Tailgate up means they were planning on containing a jumbled load.

He also put a lot of bricks on the ground so he still failed even if everything there was intentional

haveblue posted:He also put a lot of bricks on the ground so he still failed even if everything there was intentional Some, but that's still a lot less to toss up by hand than the entire pallet worth. They're not banded up or anything, so even if they managed to set the pallet down precisely it would fall over as soon as the truck took a corner. A giant heap is probably the most stable way to transport them.

I guess it depends on what they were going to be used for. That looks like a great way to break a significant % of them That's a good way to gently caress up your brick stack
