different podcasts have different optimal speeds. my default is 2.7x. my (unfortunately accurately named) Podcast Addict stats screen:  those numbers are counting the length of the original recording, i spend much less time actually listening. weirdly, it doesn't have a simple count of how many things I'm currently subscribed to, but it's definitely more than 30.

Like do you even retain the information at that level I feel like I'm probably getting more out of half-listening to an episode of Citations Needed at normal speed while I play GTAO for an hour then you would speed-listening to three episodes of it in the same timeframe

Made yardwork more fun to have high energy stuff like Rammstein and electronica playing quietly in the background while listening to backlogs of Street Fight call-in shows and old eps of Stavvy Solves Your Problems. I highly recommend other freaks like me to try it out.
