They sent me the measurements of the three "dominant" ones (apparently there are others) in those fancy Euro-measurements, but here they are. The queen fibroid: 10.3 x 7.1 x 9.4 cm Concubine #1: 8.6 x 8.8 x 8.2 cm Concubine #2: 3.7 x 3.4 x 4.5 cm

Thanks for reminding me, I'm off to have one now, hopefully I will remember long enough it to make a difference. Then I can forget again and the cycle will begin again. Hi vitamin D is actually super important now because of coronavirus and you have a kid. It's a fat-stored vitamin, it can take a month to get back up to the levels that it should be. You need to take it everyday starting today with food that has some kind of oil or fat and figure out a way to remember. Will you do this for me? I like reading your posts.

Yeah, that's why I always take it with the cod liver oil capsule, doubles up as extra vitamin d and helps absorbtion. For remembering, I was gonna put a calender on the wall next to the kettle and mark the day out when I'd taken it, but I've got into the habit of taking it with breakfast now. It's well worth doing, everyone should take it. On the period note, yep I seem to be on a 2 week cycle. Yay. My tits hurt.

I'm four days in to a week late period and at this point I haven't produced enough blackberry jam to spread on half a slice of toast. My last period was a one day brown smear waste of time and instead of the usual hormonal acne going away it kept going until day 2 of this one. I'm starting to wonder what menopause is like, I have no idea if that's what this might be or if this is just PCOS shenanigans.

If you have trouble remembering if you have taken your pills or not try adding a b vitamin. b vitamins turn your pee bright yellow so if your pee is bright yellow you'll know you've taken it. 😁

That’s really solid advice. I take my antidepressants with my morning coffee at work and this morning there was no milk and it threw me. I couldn’t remember if I’d waited because the black coffee was too hot or if I hadn’t. Waiting for the radioactive pee could have solved that conundrum.

Also using pill caddies can help. I have one I use for my zoloft in the morning and one for my prenatals at lunch. They also make ones with separate slots for morning/afternoon/night.

Aw thanks I will remember and I always have butter on my toast. I was a lot more dutiful about taking it while pregnant and the first year of breastfeeding. But no joke once they have the power of mobility and speech kids do everything possible to distract you. I took it this morning, I remembered, and then I remembered why I tapered off cause mixed with coffee it makes me a little nauseated. Aha. Ahahaha. Aaaaahahahahaaaa. My brain doctor -- BRAIN doctor -- prescribed me folic acid out of loving nowhere, and so I asked her why. After all, she is my BRAIN doctor, and therefore only in charge of my BRAIN medication. My hypothesis was that folic acid was some weird anti-seizure thing, but I asked anyway because wtf. Her answer: "It is my medical opinion that, any woman of child bearing potential should be taking one milligram of folic acid to help with supplementation. In the event that you get pregnant, this will lower the risk of malformation of development."

Doesn’t folic acid also do good stuff for your hair and nails? I remember I was taking b12 with folic acid at one point because thought that was a thing. Anyway, I’m bleeding like a stick pig today. I took the day off to go to the beach, but instead I’m taking a nap because I think I have light anemia. I think my boyfriend is picking me up some chocolate on his way home because he is an absolute dream.

Love this thread! So many of my favorite posters and so supportive, what a treat. In vaginal news, I was bonkers horny all last week (and sadly frustrated due to general scheduling issues), but last night I went porn surfing and just...absolutely nothing was appealing. My schedule is kind of unpredictable, anywhere from 25-32 days, but the cessation of horny usually indicates that I’m a little less than a week out. Which is, coincidentally, when my new sidepiece is due back in town. Hope he likes surprises! To contribute to funny menses tales: I usually don’t bleed much overnight, so if I wake up in the middle of the night I’ll sometimes take out the tamp until morning to give the girl a break. Last month when I did this, I got up for work, opened the fridge for a swig of juice, and ripped a righteous fart...which prompted a massive clot to dislodge itself and land directly on my foot. And yes, it splashed on the crisper drawer.

In "embarrassing memories your brain remembers while unable to sleep news" last night I was thinking about the time when I was fifteen or so and didn't have a good handle on when my period was due. I spent the night at a friends in the guest room of their nice new house and she even lent me some super cool leopard print jammies...and I just soaked their nice bed linens and jammies in about a half-gallon of dumb teenager brand blood. Her mom was pretty chill about it though thankfully. I was clearly overwhelming embarrassed and she just went and told me to not worry about it and never brought it up again and didn't make things weird. Lesson to be had? We ladies got to look out for each other in the blood trenches.

Currently having wicked cramps, backache and headache. Joy. Also not looking forward to the pelvic ultrasound on Monday. Auntie Flo wasn't supposed to be here so soon. I was thinking of rescheduling, but don't want to wait any longer as this was already rescheduled once due to their system messing up. I think you can still have one while you're on your period. Guess I'll find out.

I want to murder someone rn. The form for my replacement Nexplanon got LOST. I have been waiting on it for A MONTH. I JUST GOT THE EMAIL AND I AM SEEING RED. I sincerely wonder if there is any competent human being working in the obgyn field or in medical administration for such a practice. I work in medical admin and I understand poo poo happens, but this is even something more. I just want the birth control that works for me. I want the thing that stops my horrible periods and keeps me from getting pregnant and quells my anxiety about both of those things. I don’t think that is so much to ask. I have spent my entire life as a period haver being let down by every human being in my life with the potential to help. I’m going back and forth between being pissed and so defeated I can’t even move. What. The. gently caress.

I have spent half the day on the phone with Planned Parenthood and accomplished nothing. Obviously I love the concept, but in practice, dealing with them is never not an enormous hassle. I need to get my nexplanon replaced, and it needs to be done by a doctor. Which doesn't sound bizarre or unprecedented, AND YET

I remember reading an article about 4 years ago, that once pence and Trump won the presidency, didn't IUD sales go through the roof? Like there were appointments months in advance already filled? I'm wondering if that's going to happen again with the new supreme Court handmaid who just got forced on. In more blood news, does anyone else get one, maybe two days of fake outs with your period? like, you get the start of cramps, and there's a little blood on the toilet paper, but then nothing actually happens for another day or two so you spend those one or two days on edge and ready and got all the equipment in place, and then nothing happens until you're wearing fresh undies.

I get the opposite. "Hey, it's me, your uterus! Your period is totally over, I promise." [two days later] "Ha, just kidding! No but seriously, it's over now, don't worry." [one day later] "Whoops, just popping in for another visit, don't mind me!" and so on. edit: and naturally these are all just toilet paper smears
