Ugh, the comments section there is loving vile. Like, the entire point of the article was that women turn to sex work when they don't have any other options, and the commenters are just up in there poo poo-talking about how "sex work is the easy way out, those women are just lazy skanks, I wouldn't want a midwife who's ever been naked because she'll try to gently caress my husband". It's baffling, I don't know what else to think other than those commenters have lived pretty comfortable lives and should just be happy and shut up, to put it politely. The whole 'struggling poors are lazy' is aggravating. You do whatever it takes to stay afloat... somehow you're lazy and taking the easy way out. Thanks capitalism for pitting us against our fellow human beings in an unnecessary race to the bottom.
