I voted by mail in the same county. I've been running a joke "poll" where I take my dog on walks in random neighborhoods and count the signs then compare that to the 2016 results. If that's even remotely close to accurate, Trump lost a lot of support in the western suburbs.

She openly called for full integration, including black suffrage. She was also a socialist, so the lib worship is still pretty off-base, but she wasn't a racist by any standard.

Having voting machines and not just a paper ballot/box is unfathomable to me as a non american. Like, why? Also I got 1.55 odds on a Biden victory yesterday from various sports bettings sites (55 cents for every dollar) and put on a lot of money so uh, don't let me down America

Like, why? america is a total mess of overlapping jurisdictions which all have different things on the ballot on election day so you can't just print off like ten million ballots, but between ten and a hundred thousand copies of a hundred different ballots, and then make sure that someone who lives in Dipshit State, Bugfuck County, District 14 gets the correct ballot and not the one for District 15 so they can vote on the correct mosquito control commissioner, usually an unopposed incumbent this year i voted on a machine which printed out a paper ballot which i fed into a scanner, so that was nice Mr. Fall Down Terror fucked around with this message at 17:10 on Nov 3, 2020 |

I have never voted on paper in my life, and I'm definitely not American Electronic voting is totally fine and a lot more convenient/faster to count as long as you have machines that actually, you know, work. Seems like something you should test beforehand

Skooms posted:Wait, I'm confused. Isn't a Yes bet the bet that Trump will lose at least one state he won in 2016? Ah man, I brainfarted because I'm in so many markets. Yes, please bet YES, not NO there. A NO bet means every poll is wrong everywhere, basically, while YES means Biden will at least get, say, Michigan, much less anything else. So basically, you make 18 cents on every dollar you put in (up to the max amount) if you let it ride. You can also sell shares early as the market fluctuates.
