So this just popped up. I came across it yesterday and I can already say it's one of my top albums for this year. Like, I thought Havukruunu was a total shoo-in for the #1 spot but now I'm not so sure anymore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTQEOasKdVo Can't remember the last time I heard this kinda retro rock/proto metal done with so much authenticity, heart, and warmth. My first listen through went by like "Ok this is cool, sounds nice and classy", but then over the last couple tracks I woke up like "Wait hold the gently caress on, this is more than cool, this is loving outstanding" and went on to listen to it like five more times on repeat. And now I'm listening to it again and it's just loving beautiful.

I've been listening to it all weekend and while your statement is entirely true, I can't get past all the god drat christian lyrical content. At least Trouble were a little more subtile about it.

There isn't really any fire and brimstone type stuff in the lyrics, it's all about standing up against the powers of evil and denouncing satan, not that different from the more religious Black Sabbath or Pentagram songs really.
