 Opening up for the day as Redd is here, I've taken one real painting but the real Scary Painting is still up for grabs. Also it's Lucky's birthday, please come give my stupid spoopy pal a present. I've left some outside his house which is convinently located near the secret beach. Still have a load of DIY cards on the beach alongside some gifts and random unwanted items on the beach near Nooks! I still love rain-fishing. Caught a tuna for Blathers and a small but respectable pile of coelacanth and sturgeon for CJ. edit: Well, this evening's been a rollercoaster. Hey all. Long time no post. I'm back now that the Tax Man is no longer in charge. Things have changed a lot on Numenor, and today is a wonderful time to visit as Isabelle has announced an official meteor shower - only the second in our island's history. Celeste is also here to greet you and give you the Scorpio DIY. Rear of the island: Come see our orchard, pumpkin patch, and umbrella collection, as well as the SETI observation deck, perfect for watching tonight's starfall. Please feel free to spend time at the casino fun park, and admire the stage display, as well as the haunted bamboo forest and graveyard. Actually might look tonight before Flick leaves. Roughly how many NMTs do you think it'll take? I've no idea how common it is.

I have completed phase one of my villager project: Eight penguins, one of each personality type! (Phase two is obviously filling the remaining two spots with more penguins.) I'm not theming the island or anything, I just ended up with multiple penguins in the initial villager collection and decided to make it a goal. It's actually been mostly reasonable to achieve, despite taking a long time in the absolute sense.

The island is small compared to your actual island, and you can chop down/dig up all flora to prevent bug spawns if you're focusing on fish, or at least it's easy to run around and scare away all the fish if you're looking for bugs.  This should be all the types of islands you can run into. Best one for your case is obviously "Big fish island" but "Falls island" is probably the best common island you can get with the most upper-level water since that's where golden trouts spawn. Some of the normal islands with a little patch of upper level water is fine too if you don't have tickets to spare. Just chop down all the trees, dig up the stumps, and pick all the flowers to minimize bug spawns. All those summer bugs that only spawned on coconut trees really annoyed me until I went to NMT islands instead and I got them all in one go.

I’ve had pretty good luck with fish and bug collection. Sea creatures can rot in hell though. I’ve probably accumulated 3 hours searching for a red king crab. I’m not convinced they exist.

I was going to go tarantula hunting on NMT islands tonight, but Celeste is here and there were three shooting stars a little while ago so now I'm standing forlornly on a hill listening for twinkly noises. Sorry Flick, no spider pile for you tonight. Maybe next time you visit I'll have some waiting for you.

So what happens if you go to Tarantula/Scorpion island when they're out of season? Do the bugs appear out of season, or do you get an empty island and realised you were unlucky enough to get the 1% chance? Or do they take the islands out of the loop completely.when there's nothing there.

I have Tammi leaving tomorrow. She is a wonderful peppy monkey and is the last of my original villagers, so if you give her a home she will have a way better house than the one she's currently living in. Let me know if you have room in your island for this friend.
