There was another guy like him who made up stories about winning the kumite, he went on the become a millionaire karate dojo baron. Just more stories that complete sum up the world of white people. I kinda miss the age of dipshit action movie heroes pretending they could really do the things in the movies.

True Lies is like Starship Troopers. The film is pro-other-side, but told from the POV of our side. Crimson Jihad gets to make their mission statement and it is completely reasonable. They are tired of their families being bombed from afar by American cowards. They want all US military to leave the Persian Gulf area immediately and forever. Then they bomb an uninhabited island as a warning, as a gesture that they are willing to be humanitarians about the whole thing. Their goal is to get the US to stop, not to seek revenge. But then the action heroes go and kill them anyway and win.

This is sheer speculation on my part but I wonder if the proliferation of MMA has made it harder for people to keep up those frauds. After all, if they're such super special badasses, why don't they just go and prove it? They're put in the unmarketable position to have to make up excuses for not doing so
