If you think everything is political, what an unfortunate thought process that would be. Having fun, being entertaining, and having a good joke are 3 examples of non political related thoughts and or opinions. An example of a political opinion would be, getting someone getting mad.

Here is my unpopular opinion, i dont like (the stereotypical) goons very much. I think they live online too much and don't relate well to regular normal everyday people.

Offline people are quaint, they get their information off the news instead of memes, and don't think about things that much. They must live happy lives.

I tend to agree with the statement that 'everything is political', but unless you are The King of America and can reshape society as you see fit, in order to interact with others with whom you may have major differences of opinion, you have to learn how to act like a non-stereotypical goon and to just let things go.

There's no such thing as "a joke" and the fastest way to get the measure of someone is to consider what they joke about (and this is before we get into the 3 layer irony lasagna a lot of online people are baked into). That's why having fun and joking around are more often than not highly political acts.

Jokes are just ways to say what your opinion is but obfuscated so you have deniability. It can be funny too sure, and you can make jokes as a character, but somewhere behind the layers is the real you.

It's really great to see some of the unfunniest assholes in existence "tell jokes" or "ask questions" Simply because it's never funny and it never fails to blow the biggest dog whistle ever. Actual cats sitting there with their iPads reading an article on racism in kittens going *tut tut* look up and take note.

I know I sometimes have fun and laughs like a normal person, but I'd be pretty dense to think the ways we have fun and the ways we bond and express joy arent political. It's why I don't associate with people who make racist jokes, for one pretty obvious example. When I say there's no such thing is a joke, I dont mean humour doesnt exist. I simply mean that jokes tell you a lot about someone. Disco Pope has a new favorite as of 00:10 on Nov 16, 2020 |

Apparently that new Pfizer vaccine only has a 90% effective rate. So I think they should give it first to the least vulnerable people. Their pre-existing low chance of getting or suffering badly from the virus will be enough to make up for the vaccine's shortcoming. Once you've got those people safe, then move on to vaccinating everyone in order of increasing vulnerability.
