I think where Progressives are concerned, we're in for something very much like the Cold War except internally. It's going to take patience and determination. Plus it's going to take persuasion and a degree of open-mindedness. I refuse to believe that such a huge chunk of our electorate have become hardened Nazis. Still, they for Trump for a reason. We need to get into that reason and give them better reasons to vote differently. Dismissing them all as a bunch of "chuds" won't do that.

Two things. 1) American limitless Free Speech guarantees you to be free from the government affecting you over your speech. 2) Some of y'all need to think about the Paradox of Tolerance  There can be no allowing for the freedom of fascism, because the goal of a fascist is to remove your freedom. Oh also, who are all the surviving Jedi in the new canon post ROTJ: Luke, Ahsoka and Ezra are the only ones I know about. Luke probably hasn't accidentally founded the Knights of Ren yet (also I haven't seen ROTS so if there's an obvious one from that I'm missing, that's why)

I feel like we should stop and clarify something. Transphobia is not a political ideology, it's a form of bigotry. When Gina tweets transphobia, she's not doing it as a political pundit, she's expressing a bigoted opinion in a public forum. The idea that we're opposed to her on the basis of politics and not simply on the basis of her having rear end-backwards and bigoted takes that make her fans feel unwelcome or unsafe is wrong. If she were just tweeting about Trump or the election, that would be one thing entirely separate from the actual circumstance. She is actively spreading transphobia and anti-science misinformation, which are hurtful and dangerous ideas that exist independently of America and our lovely political structure. No one is cancelling her for being a Trump supporter, we're disappointed in her for being an anti-science bigot. Also anyone who tries to fit in with progressives by calling a woman a "whore" is either trying to bait us or literally doesn't have women in their life to explain to them why they are morons, and you can probably safely put anyone who posts like that on 'Ignore'.

LMAO I just remembered when Finn had a lightsaber and instead of doing the most logical and obvious thing ever and have Finn fight Phasma in the first movie with the lightsaber (both giving her something to do as well as deepening their storyline for the sequels) they just have Phasma do literally nothing and have Fin square off against a random Tonfa-Trooper. I remeber walking out of the theatre and thinking "what a weird missed opportunity, they must have something else important planned for her character since she seems so important and imposing" and then... lol

For a second I thought Finn was gonna be like "omg former storm trooper has space wizard powers holy poo poo yes" but they went nowhere with that. They did some bullshit about "he could sense Rey~" in the last movie. Phasma needed more screen time, her character looked so cool and I was expecting more of it. Seriously, they should had made her Kylo Ren's truly right hand. But anyways, back to the better Star Wars The Mandalorian.
