I rewatched gits recently and the streetscape scene where it's just music and showing the city for like 3 minutes is the part that stood out way over cyborg combat and invisibility and spider tank I rewound it like 3 times and put my stereo up to neighbor-annoying levels

Good short interview with Mike Pondsmith. I used to hang out with him a lot (yep, same anime crowd in the 80s) and playtested Mekton a few times before it was out. Some of my friends I still hang with worked on a bunch of games that he made (art, planning, layout etc). It's really wild seeing how far his works have come.
